MI Notebook Ultra, MI Notebook Pro Launched Today (26th Aug): Here are the specs, price, and features

Xiaomi has announced two new laptops in India as part of its Smarter Living 2022 event. The Mi NoteBook Ultra and Mi NoteBook Pro are the follow-ups to the Mi NoteBook 14 series, which debuted last year.

Both laptops have a backlit keyboard, the newest Intel 11th Gen processors, Mi TrueLife display, an Aerospace grade Series 6 Aluminium body, USB Type-C fast charging, and Thunderbolt 4 ports, according to a press statement.

Mi NoteBook Ultra price, features and Specification

A 15.6-inch Mi TrueLife+ 3.2K IPS Display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 90Hz refresh rate comes standard on the Mi NoteBook Ultra. TÜV Rheinland certification is included, as well as DC Dimming to alleviate eye strain.

The 11th Generation TigerLake Intel® CoreTM i7 and i5 H35 series processors are paired with Intel Iris X graphics and dedicated AI hardware. Up to 16GB of 3200MHz DDR4 RAM and 512GB of NVMe SSD storage are included in the laptop.

A 70Wh battery is included, which is said to last for 12 hours on a single charge, as well as a 65W fast charger that can charge the device from 0 to 50% in under 45 minutes. A 720p HD camera with a 2D array dual-microphone system is also included. The Mi NoteBook Ultra has a Thunderbolt 4 port, HDMI 1.4 port, USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, 3.5mm audio jack, USB 2.0, and USB Type-C port for connectivity.

The laptop weighs 1.7 kg and has an all-metal construction. The backlit keyboard has a 1.5mm travel distance for each key and a 62 percent larger trackpad (with gestures and other features) than the Mi NoteBook 14 series. It also has two 2W stereo speakers, DTS audio, a fingerprint scanner and also Windows Hello.

The Mi NoteBookPro comes with a 14-inch 2.5K display that also gets a 16:10 aspect ratio. A high refresh rate is missing. It comes with up to16GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 512GB of NVMe SSD storage.

Other than this, the laptop shares the same processor options, a backlit keyboard, a fingerprint scanner, and more.

The price of the Mi NoteBook Pro is Rs 56,999 (Intel Core i5-11300H + 8GB RAM), Rs 59,999 (Intel Core i5-11300H + 16GB RAM), and Rs 72,999 (Intel Core i7-11370H + 16GB RAM).


The Xiaomi Laptops look promising and are released at aggressive pricing. It will be head-to-head with its nemesis Samsung, Dell, and HP in the Laptop Market. Xiaomi has again proved its worth in the Laptop market once again.
